Different Types of Projectors

If to trace the history of projects one can distinguish several projector types, each of which signifies different stages of project device development. Today we do not use film-reel projector types, which people used to show off home movies. Such types of projector as CRT-based model has become a thing of the past; it was too bulky and it's weight was over 100 pounds. In order to project different red, green, blue color components separate tubes were needed.

These days' projectors are quite different, they are not heavy anymore, they range in size, they are able to produce brighter colors in comparison with their predecessors. Different types of projectors are more modified and in general, their weight is about 5 and 15 pounds. Heavy tubes are not used and there are replaced by digital image chips, which enable to reduce the size making the device more convenient in use.

Different types of projectors are designed for diverse aims, that is for home, office, theatre use. The first projector type demands less costs, however, they offer purer image quality. Often it happens that when operating in well-lit meeting rooms office projector in order to overcome ambient light compromise on color saturation and brightness.

Home types of projector is to operate in dark rooms that's why it doesn't have to compromise in anything in order to create bright colors with less light. Looking for such projector type you will come across such feature as lower brightness. Nevertheless, such option doesn't mean pure quality in this case.

The difference between all above mentioned types may not be very large.
